# ESIFly

> ESIFly is a marketplace for booking aerial experiences and aviation services worldwide: helicopter, hot-air balloon, airplane, adventure sports, flying lessons, private flights, empty legs, cost-shared flights and helicopter arrivals for events, offered by aviation operators, flying clubs and private pilots.

- ESIFly is a booking platform and intermediary: it is not the air carrier and does not operate the aircraft. The operator, flying club or independent pilot in charge of the flight is solely responsible for it; the operator's identity is communicated to the customer once the booking is accepted.
- Activities are published by aviation operators, flying clubs and eligible private pilots; what is available, at which price and under which rules varies by activity and by country.
- Availability depends on the activity: dates, aircraft and pilot or operator availability; a flight goes ahead only if weather conditions and airspace restrictions allow it.
- Flights sold by operators and flying clubs follow a booking-request flow: nothing is charged at checkout, the request must be sent at least 72 hours before the flight, the operator accepts it (or proposes other slots, or declines), and the customer then pays within 72 hours to validate the booking. A booking request is not a confirmed flight.
- Cost-shared flights are confirmed by the pilot who accepts the request; the passenger pays the platform's intermediation fee when requesting, and the pilot's share of the direct costs is settled once the flight is accepted, according to the payment method offered.
- Prices are indicative "from" prices per listing, published in EUR and displayed converted at the current rate; weekday and weekend rates may differ, and some fares depend on the aircraft and the passenger count. Default display currency for this market: USD.
- Storefront language: English (en) at the root, plus العربية under /ar/, 简体中文 under /zh-CN/, हिन्दी under /hi/, 日本語 under /ja/, 한국어 under /ko/, বাংলা under /bn/. HTML pages and Markdown resources are served in the language of their URL; other markets and languages are listed by the sitemap's hreflang alternates.
- Cost-shared flights (coavionnage, also called « covoiturage aérien » in French) with private pilots are offered only where permitted by applicable aviation regulations. In the European Union, eligible flights operate under Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 (Part-NCO, non-commercial operations): passengers only share the direct costs of the flight, with no profit for the pilot, outside commercial air transport.
- Activity Markdown sheets: append `.md` to any activity page URL (`https://esifly.app/listing-product-detail/<slug>.md`) for a structured sheet — category, flight type, duration, capacity, aircraft, price per passenger, inclusions, rules and booking link. Every Markdown resource is served as text/markdown, marked noindex and links back to its HTML page.
